Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It’s the month we invite everyone to ‘Pink Up’ to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation to show support for individuals and their families experiencing breast cancer. The funds raised help fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses throughout the country.
Get involved and 'Pink Up'...

Your own event
‘Pink Up’ your school, your work, your sports team or even your backyard and fundraise for the McGrath Foundation. Dress up in pink, hold a trivia night, host a BBQ or high tea, or do something daring – the ideas are endless and all make a huge difference!

Your town
Towns from all around Australia are ‘Pinking Up’ for the McGrath Foundation this October, see if your town is one of them and join in their activity. You could even organise your own activity as part of their event!

Your venue
Add a touch of pink to your brunch, lunch, afternoon soirée or dinner service and create memorable moments for your patrons! Be inspired by venues who have pinked up in the past and let the ideas flow!
To help you ‘Pink Up’ your fundraising event, we’ve created some easy to download resources along with some suggestions to help get the creativity flowing.

“I cannot find the words to describe how my McGrath Breast Care Nurse supported me and my family through my three cancer diagnoses. I truly believe I could not have coped without her support. I love and respect her so much.“
